Strategic Ministry Opportunity

Strategically located near our existing facility, the Blasdell property positions our church in the heart of a five-mile radius encompassing approximately 138,000 residents across Hamburg, Lackawanna, and parts of Buffalo. This diverse mix of suburban families, working-class neighborhoods, and varied cultural backgrounds presents a significant opportunity for gospel outreach and life-giving ministry. With easy access to nearby I-90 and relatively few gospel-centered churches in the immediate area, this location stands as a mission field hiding in plain sight. We are prayerfully considering whether God is calling us to settle our growing congregation here; bringing truth, grace, and lasting transformation to these communities.

We know you have more questions about the Blasdell campus opportunities. We have put together answers to the most common questions to help you stay informed and engaged every step of the way.
How will we know if we should move forward?
We’re prayerfully looking for two key confirmations:

1. Church-wide unity

We want to see clear and tangible support from our church family that this campus meets both our short- and long-term needs. We’re gathering input through questionnaires, conversations, and meetings.

2. God’s provision through His people

We’re trusting the Lord to provide financially by stirring generosity within our church family to meet both the purchase and future ministry needs of this space.
What is the purchase price of the Blasdell campus?
The total purchase price is $630,000 with estimated remodeling costs to be between $250 and $500k. We are estimating a total project of around $1M.
How will we fund the purchase?
Our desire would be to complete the purchase this summer through several one-time lead gifts from within our church family, and launch a church-wide capital campaign this fall to fully fund the necessary renovations and prepare the space for long-term ministry.
Is this a financial risk?
Any step of faith involves some level of risk, but we believe this is a wise and measured opportunity.

Even after the down payment, we expect to maintain healthy financial reserves. At the same time, this step invites all of us to grow in faith and generosity as we invest in what God is doing in and through our church.

When will we close on the Blasdell campus?
We are currently still in the due diligence phase, but if we are able to secure the necessary lead gifts for this project, we would close on the Blasdell campus between June 15 and July 15.
When would Sunday services begin at the new location?
We’re still working on this timeline, and we will know more after our due diligence phase is completed. We could potentially be worshipping in the new facility in late 2026 or early 2027.
What renovations would be needed if we secure the property?
We are currently working with an architect and expect to have clearer plans early this summer.

Some potential updates include:
· Expanding lobby space
· Adding additional restrooms
· Reorienting the worship space for better flow
· Replacing the roof on the middle building
· Connecting the three buildings into one cohesive layout
